In December 2008, we went to Langkawi Island. Ferry trip from Kuala Kedah took about 1 1/2 hour to reach Kuah and the costs, RM23/adult and RM17/child for one-way trip.

We stayed at Langgura Baron Chalet located at Chenang Beach at RM130/night during peak season (I'm not sure of off-peak season's price).

Way back in June 2006, we went to Langkawi. It was our second trip there. We stayed at Langkasuka Beach Resort located at Tengah Beach. Unfortunately, it was raining throughout the day...and we had to cancel our outdoor activities (too sad). Only the day of our departure, the weather was OK (sigh!). We decided to go to Langkawi again next time!
